Students now have a harder time paying attention to a lecture.

Try and break up your lesson through interactive activities, movies, music, etc.

Skype is a new tool that allows you to make FREE voice calls over the internet.

It is also becoming very popular when using internet messaging, file transfers, and video conferencing.

Sample Project:- Use www.citycreator.com and assign students to use their creativity to design their own city!

- They must be able to explain why they built the city the way they did.- Keep in mind: Food, water, houses, recreation, work, etc.- May be done in groups, but city must be must larger if done so.

USE TECHNOLOGY WHENEVER AVAILABLE!!!! Students love using computers and

working in groups.Lecture is BORING.

When students are completing a project or assignment make sure they know what is expected!
