School-age children handle cyberbullying in many ways including societal alienation, drawing more attention to themselves, personal harm (cutting), and suicide.

Stand for the Silent was an anti-bullying initiative started in 2010 by the family of an 11-year-old Oklahoma boy who felt his social life was so tough that he took his own life.

It is our job as professionals to guide these children (as young as age two) to a better understanding of the dangers of the Internet and proper rules of Netiquette.
