Career
Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to do something that had to do with computers and building stuff. Later on, after I took Business Tech and a couple of engineering summer camps, I figured out that I wanted to design things like processors, graphics cards,

motherboards, and stuff like that. Now, I am pretty sure that I want to design mobile processor chips, which are what makes phones, like iPhones or Android phones, work.
Colleges
So, after thinking about what I want to do, I have made three choices about where I want to go to get a degree:
Auburn University Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech)
Auburn University
Here are some of the reasons why I chose this college:
They have a very good engineering school that is getting better and one of the main focuses of the president to get better.
They have a very good sports program, which football and basketball are my favorite sports
Auburn Cont.
It is very close to home Since my dad works there, I get a
discount on the tuition. However, there are some drawback to
this college: It is a small town There isn’t much to do outside of football
season.
Interesting Facts- Auburn After they win any kind of sports events,
they roll trees by Toomer’s Corner Tim Cook went to Auburn. Their school mascot is Aubie the Tiger. Before football games, an eagle flies
around the stadium.
MIT I picked MIT for many reasons, and here
are some of them: It is the best engineering school in the
world. It is in a big town, which I like. They are currently doing research to
make CPU’s faster. They have a good sports program, even
if they are not very focused on it.
MIT Cont.
It is only 4 hours away from where I used to live (Rochester, NY).
I love the weather up there, especially in the summer.
Some thing I don’t like: It is very far away It can get very cold in winter
Interesting Facts- MIT
Their mascot is Tim the Beaver They play lots of pranks, or what they
call “hacks”. They are located in Boston,
Massachusetts.
Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech is the last college that I chose.
It has many good things about it. It is only two hours away from where I
live now and I have family that lives even nearer to the city
It is in a big city. It is a very good engineering school.
Georgia Tech
There are some drawbacks as well though:
I do not like the city that it is located in, even if it is a big one.
Again, it is not a very sport-centered college, like Auburn.
Interesting Facts- GA Tech There mascot is Buzz the yellow jacket. It is in Atlanta, Georgia. They have a lot of traditions.
Which should I chose?
So after considering all of this, I think I want to go to Auburn University to get a BS in electrical engineering degree there, and then later going to MIT(if I can) and then getting a PhD in electrical engineering, and then maybe going to work for a company like NVIDIA.
How I plan on preparing
To help prepare for going to college, I am going to take all of the engineering classes at the high school. I also will probably do some summer camps at Auburn University that have to do with engineering.
