Organize materials and goals ! My partners and I had wished to go ahead

before the event and educate young children in our local schools about community hunger. However we were unable to because of a lack of communication and determination. I hope next year this is something one of the hour classes can accomplish.

Making the bowls ! The goal was original to make 120 bowls however some broke and others were not fired in time for the event.

Creating the Posters- many posters were made flyers and banners !

Educating the community- preview of what was to come at the event. This took place at the student showcase , the public was able to ask questions and get some answers.

Goal was to help set-up and participate in the event.

None of our group members were able to attend Empty Bowls. This is something that we all agree we should have been present at so people could have under stood our passion and willingness to learn, understand, and help end community hunger. We ask that future group participants attend this event if the wish to be a part of it . To stick with it until the end ….you will be rewarded through the emotional impact this project will have on you.
