maiden up in a cage, and forced her to sing for them. The maiden replied back, “You can’t make me”. The chief said, “A bird that doesn’t sing is not worth the bird seed”.

The sticks turned into stilts and helped the old man cross about halfway up the river. Some bandit guards spotted them. “Monster Monster”, the bandits yelled and fled.

When the old man returned home, he threw the sticks in the air hoping they would come alive again. Sadly, the sticks didn’t work and the old man used them to cook his fish.

Everyone's life went back to normal. Plus everyone was very happy. Except for the robbers because they went to jail.
