In 2016, Butler County Maintenance crews used 1,376 tons of asphalt to perform manual patching to repair its roadways.

Pipe Replacement

• Butler County Pipe Crews replaced 2,311 feet of cross pipe throughout the county ranging from 18 – 48 inches in diameter in 2016.

• Butler County Pipe Crews installed 10,576 feet of parallel pipe along its roadways in 2016.

• Butler County Pipe Crews installed 5,621 feet of underdrain in 2016.

Butler County – Upcoming Projects Department Force

Milling/Filling Route 8 NB & SB Butler County Maintenance Forces will be performing milling/filling on Route 8 between Route 228 East and West both north and south bound. This project will be done during daylight hours. Traffic will be restricted 1 lane during this operation.

Bridge Replacement – State Route 1010 (Hooker Road) - Butler County Maintenance Forces will be replacing the bridge on State Route 1010, Concord Twp. The road will be closed during the duration and a detour utilized.

Butler County – Upcoming Projects Department Force

Paving a partial section of State Route 1025 - Butler County Maintenance Forces will be paving State Route 1025 (Bonniebrook Road) from the Intersection of State Route 1011 (Grant Street) to the top of the hill approximately 2500 feet. We plan on performing this work in the spring.
