I'M AMAZED
No one knew how alone I was feeling
And the emptiness I tried so
Hard to hide.
Though I laughed and said my life was
Fine without you I was
Covering up the secret tears I cried.

I'M AMAZED
Then one day someone told me of your
Mercy and the love You showed
On a hill called Calvary.
There you died and purchased my
Redemption when You broke
Sin's power and set my spirit free.

Through Your precious blood I've found
Pardon and my sins are washed
They're all washed away, Oh
My sins are washed away.

Yes, it's true there've been days when
I failed you. Lord, You know the many
Times I've gone astray
But I've learned Your love is stronger
Than my weakness and Your ear
Is open ev'ry time I pray.

Romans 5: 12- 21 (NLT)
Adam and Christ Contrasted
12 When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought
death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. 13 Yes,
people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not
counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. 14 Still,
everyone died—from the time of Adam to the time of Moses—even
those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as
Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who
was yet to come. 15 But there is a great difference between Adam’s
sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam,
brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace
and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus
Romans 5: 12- 21 (NLT)
Adam and Christ Contrasted
Christ. 16 And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from
the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to
condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right
with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of
this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even
greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for
all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this
one man, Jesus Christ.18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but
Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with
God and new life for everyone.
Romans 5: 12- 21 (NLT)
Adam and Christ Contrasted
19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But
because one other person obeyed God, many will be made
righteous.20 God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they
were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful
grace became more abundant.21 So just as sin ruled over all
people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace
rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But even greater is God’s wonderful
grace and His gift of forgiveness.

Captain Fran Everitt
(Romans 7:15) I do not understand the things I do. I do not do what I
want to do, and I do the things I hate.
I want to do the things that are good, but I do not do them. I do not do the things I want to do, but I do the bad things I do not want to do.
(Romans 5: 8-9) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ
to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.
But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of forgiveness. (Romans 5: 15c)
Hebrews 8:12b I will never again remember their sins.
Psalm 103:12 He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is
from the west.
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let’s settle this, says the Lord. Though your
sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow.
Do yourself a favour…..forgive.1. Unforgiveness always keeps score
2. Unforgiveness boasts of its good behaviour
3. Unforgiveness complains
4. Unforgiveness alienates, divides and separates
5. Unforgiveness continues to bring up the offence
6. Unforgiveness resents the others blessings
Psalm 133:1 Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to
dwell together in unity.
Romans 12: 16 - 18 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty,
but readily adjust yourself to people, things and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest, proper and noble in the sight of everyone. If possible, as far as it depends on you live at peace with everyone.
He gives us unconditional love and asks us to love others unconditionally
He gives us mercy and asks us to be merciful
He forgives us and asks us to forgive others
God never asks us to do for another, what he has not first done for us
Galatians 3: 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism
have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.
