Workforce health – recruitment, training, and retention of qualified employees – is frequently identified as the number one issue impacting South Carolina business. This year’s Workforce Development Symposium will expand on 2018’s offerings to include breakout sessions offering more direct training opportunities for those working in economic development and workforce recruiting. This event is a partnership between the SC Chamber of Commerce, SC Department of Employment and Workforce, and the SC Technical College System.
