Here are some overall guidelines in building your plan. Please delete this page when your plan is ready.
Why are you writing this plan? Is it to secure funding, partnerships, hire people, etc.? Be very clear about your purpose so you can meet the needs of the person/people who you want to help you with your business.
The plan should tell a compelling story: why is this a great business opportunity? what is the problem you are trying to address and why is your approach able to address it? What are you going to do to make your business idea happen? What do you need in terms of resources and investment? Why are you the right person to lead this business? How will you get it executed and how will you measure the ROI.
Keep your plan concise and to the point. It should be a reflection of what you bring to the world and help the person/people decide why should they work and/or invest in you.
A really good business plan is a document that you use to guide your business. It needs to be a living document where you can track your key milestones.
