Business Manager One of Adelaide’s Largest Medical Practices

Permanent Full Time Role

Adelaide Health Care is a flourishing general practice in the heart of the city, with 14 GPs and 3 practice nurses who provide general practice care to our diverse clientele. We have a number of on-site allied health services including physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics and pathology. Adelaide Health Care is also a teaching practice for doctors training in the specialty of general practice. As the leader of this dynamic business, the Business Manager ensures the practice is fully supported to enable the delivery of high quality clinical care by our health practitioners. The Business Manager provides administrative leadership to ensure effective, productive, safe systems within the practice. The right person will provide leadership in the development of strategic innovations. Excellent communication skills are vital. Key responsibilities include:

Management of all business operations within the practice

Generating efficiency and improvement through the development and review of staff and business

processes

Driving innovation and best practice principles

Overseeing the financial performance and strategic direction of the practice

Implementation and training of staff on IT systems roll out

Ideally this position will suit applicants who have had previous experience in a similar role. However Business Management skills in general practice are not essential. It is expected that applicants will have high-level management experience in medium-sized business operations: Human Resources, Systems Management, Finance, IT and Marketing.
