Introduction
Effective Nov 21st 2016, all Business Connect sales teams can use the online version of the Sales
Order Form to capture Business Connect orders. The Business Connect Sales Order Form is
available at this URL:

2. Offers ability to save and continue with orders at a later time
3. Eliminates the need for Sales to create Sales Force Case and email to SOV; Sales Force
case creation and submission is now fully automated in the background

5. Offers customisation for users – User info like Sales rep ID are auto-populated once
indicated as part of registration process

High Level Process
1. TELUS Sales to complete the Business Connect Sales Order Form and click submit. In the
back end, this will automatically generate a SFDC case and assign to SOV.
2. TELUS Sales will receive an acknowledgement of their TELUS Business Connect Sales
Order as an email with a SFDC reference number.
3. Order status can be checked by Sales in Sales Force using the reference number provided
via email.
4. For orders that require a Volume Based Pricing or term amendment:
a. TELUS Sales to indicate “Yes” to the question “Volume Based Pricing or TERM
Amendment Required”? (when filling out the Business Connect Sales Order Form)
b. TELUS Sales to complete the Business Connect Sales Order Form and click submit.
In the back end, this will automatically generate a SFDC case and assign to SOV.
c. TELUS Sales will receive an acknowledgement of their TELUS Business Connect
Sales Order as an email with a SFDC reference number.
d. TELUS Sales must forward the confirmation email just received to
[email protected] and attach the amendment to this email.
NOTE: Sales will no longer need to manually create a SFDC Case and attach the Sales order
Form going forward.

standards (i.e. 8 characters or longer, mix of number and
letters, not repetitive or sequential).

Note: These fields will be used to personalize your experience
for the order form.
Select a security question
Enter your answer to the security question
Note: These will be used in the event that you need to reset
your password.

Email Validation
Once the Registration screen is successfully
submitted, a message will be sent to the
email address you provided.
This message will contain a unique
validation code, which will remain valid for
48 hours*.
Note: If the email address is not validated within 48
hours, a new validation code will need to be sent. If
required, go back to the login screen and enter your
email address. A message will appear, with a link to
resend the validation email.
When you receive your validation email, copy and paste the code on the validation screen.
Confirmation
Now that your email has been validated and
your account successfully created, you are
ready to start entering orders.

Lost or forgotten password
If you have forgotten your password, enter
your email address and last name on the
Forgotten Password screen.
A message will be sent to your email
address, with the steps to reset your
password.
Note: The email address must be the one you used to
register.
Choosing a new password
Once you have clicked on the link in the
password reset email, you will be asked to
choose a new password, which needs to
adhere to the same standards.
To confirm your identity, you will also be
required to provide the answer to your
security question.

Updating account details
To update your personal information, for
example to change your preferred province
or specify your Sales Rep ID, click on your
name in the top right corner of the page.

Note: For security reasons, please follow the
Forgotten Password process to reset your password.

Note: These fields will be used to personalize your
experience for the order form.
Order Management
Access the order form
To access the Business Connect Sales
Order Form, click on the ‘Sales Order
Form’ button after log in.

Create an order
In order to create a Business Connect order,
you first need to select the following
options:
Activation Language (ex. English)
Installation Type (ex. New Business
Connect)
Channel (ex. SBS)
Province (ex. Alberta)
Once these options are selected, additional
fields will appear based on the scenario.
Here are a few examples:

Volume Based Pricing/Term Amendment
If Volume Based Pricing or Term
Amendment options are required, select
Yes on the Business Connect Sales Order
screen.
Order Management
Save and continue later
If you can’t complete an order because you’re lacking some critical piece of information, or you
just don’t have the time, you can always click the “Save and continue later” button. This will save
your order details in the system so you resume next time you’re ready.
Edit a pending order
On the initial screen, there will be a “Pending Orders” section, with the list of orders initiated at
some point in time, but never submitted.
How long can an order remain in pending status?
Pending orders will remain available until they are ready to be submitted or deleted, whatever
the case may be.

Submit an order
Once the order is completed, please take
time to review the order details on the
Summary screen. Each section can be
expanded by clicking the + sign. When
you’re ready, click the Submit button.
What should I expect?
The order details will be sent to SOV and
a case will automatically be created in
Salesforce.
You will receive a copy of the order
details, for future reference.
Once the case is created in Salesforce,
you will also receive a confirmation
email with the case number.
What if I need to modify an order that’s already been submitted?
Order details are deleted from the system once the order is submitted. If you need to modify an
order that’s already been submitted, you will need to delete it from Salesforce and create a new
order.
White Glove
Please note White Glove service
is not available for Mobile
Edition, nor is it available for SBS
and BCX.
The questions related to White
Glove will be available for all
other scenarios.
