Benefits :
- An even greater flexibility because an existing IP infrastructure can be used.
- Uses the international IP standard protocol. - Wireless communication with the Luxom
system via WLAN. This module has a configurable ‘TCP/IP address’, ‘Default Gateway’ and ‘Network ID’ settings. This module has a built-in active termination unit. A wired bridge is required (on the ‘I’ connector) to activate the internal termination. Your Luxom Bus is operational and ready to communicate via IP as soon as 24VDC is connected to this IP router.

You need to know the cable/DSL modem’s IP address to be able to communicate with a Luxom network from the internet. A standard internet provider’s account does not usually provide you with a fixed IP Address. This means you will have to use extra tools to connect to your Luxom environment. For more information please contact your Luxom specialist. In this picture an IP router with built-in modem is used. This is not necessary, and can be two separate devices.
WIRELESS CONNECTION (WIFI)
WHAT ARE THE ORANGE AND GREEN LED ON THE LAN CONNECTOR FOR?
ORANGE LED This LED lights up whenever the module is connected to a LAN network. The module is NOT connected to the LAN network when this LED is not lit. GREEN LED Blinks when there is communication between the module and the LAN network.

This message informs you the module will reboot. The orange and green LEDs on the LAN connector allow you to follow the reboot process. When clicking ‘Apply’ both LEDs light up after approximately 18 seconds for a period of about 12 seconds. When after this period the orange LED extinguishes for 5 seconds and then lights up again while the green LED starts blinking, the module has fully rebooted. In some cases it can be that you need to power themodule down and up again.
Note: When changing one of the first 9 digits in the module’s IP address, make sure you do the same in your computer’s IP address. Neglecting to do so will result in the impossibility to communicate with the module. For example: when you change the module’s IP address from 192.168.1.101 to 192.168.123.101, you also need to change your computer’s IP address from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.123.100.
HOW TO FIND THE MODULE’S MAC ADDRESS?
1- Download software DS65L_IPconfig from our website, using the following link:
2- Unzip this file and save to you hard drive: c:\ 3- Go to Start/All programs/Accessories/Command Prompt and type:
