What burns grass the fastest?

That the fire doesn't burn fresh grass. The baking soda will burn the grass.

Baking soda and vinegar burns grass.

The fire won’t burn fresh grass.

What burns grass and what burns grass the fastest?

Baking soda, vinegar, salt water, lighter, fizzy.

First we wrote a note to Mrs Peck to ask if we could dig out some dirt from behind LC11. Then we asked Mr Merriman if we could use a garden shovel. After that we dug up 6 little patches of grass. Then we got our equipment which was fizzy, baking soda, vinegar, a lighter and salt. Then we started our experiment.

• We learnt that baking soda & vinegar reacts to each other and burns grass the fastest.

• The fizzy makes the dirt fuzzy.

Yes our hypothesis was right because fire does not burn fresh grass.

For our school science expo we are doing what burns grass the fastest? If you want make a soccer or rugby field you could burn the lines to mark out the field and it will be cheaper than weed eater and after a couple of weeks you might want to hose it off.
