delays.
During construction, there will always be inspectors on site to answer any
questions residents may have.
The City will be working with the Region of Peel and other agencies (utility
companies) to coordinate projects in the area:
The Region of Peel will be completing sanitary and watermain works
on Ponytrail Drive and Rathburn Road. The project is expected to

Cycling Facilities
Multi-use Trails are paved trails separated from the road and shared by cyclists and
pedestrians. These trails are denoted by “Shared Path” signage.
General traffic principles apply on multi-use trails – keep to the right as appropriate for a
two-way transportation facility, and slower users should keep as far to the right as practical.
Courteous use of the trail is encouraged. Faster moving users should clearly communicate
to other users of their approach using a bell, horn or audible call; slower moving users
should move to the right to allow them to pass.
Cycling Facilities
A crosswalk is intended for pedestrians
and/or dismounted cyclists to walk through an
intersection.
Riding beside (“along”) a crosswalk is
specifically permitted and called a crossride.
In order to allow cyclists to cross the
intersection, a bicycle signal is provided.
The cycling crossride will be provided
using “elephant’s feet” markings beside the
pedestrian crosswalk.
