The serial number has moved around a bit over the years, but here are a few tips to help you locate the serial number on your Burley. Use a flashlight when looking for the serial number decal. It can be dark inside the trailer and it is easy to miss the decal without adequate lighting. What you should look for is a silver decal with the printed serial number and manufacture date. 1. Stand behind the trailer and look into the rear cargo area. If it is inside the cargo area it will be on the bottom left side affixed to the frame tube. 2. If there is no frame tube on the inside bottom of the cargo area, look at the frame tube running along the bottom left of the cargo area on the outside. 3. If the decal is not in the back left part of the trailer, then check inside the child compartment. It will be on the tube that runs along the front bottom of the trailer in the foot compartment. 4. On plastic-bottomed trailers look underneath and locate on the axle tube On a Flatbed the decal will be on the tow bar, in the back where it connects to the trailer. Location: The serial number will generally be found in one of four places on the child trailers: CAUTION: Some serial codes will be the same for different models.
