Testimony — Pilot’s life saved miraculouslyThis is an amazing testimony of survival written by Jenny, from the Adelaide Revival Fellowship, about her husband Peter.

“My husband Peter was an agricultural pilot in Dalby, Queensland, when he was flying and hit a power line. His plane flew a metre into the ground at 180 kph.

His injuries were very serious: he had totally smashed his face into his brain, his right leg had been crushed and his left arm was broken. They flew him to Brisbane Hospital.

Our daughter and I were at the Revival Fellowship meeting in Toowoomba when we got the news. We all prayed for him, especially that he would not have brain damage, as I knew I could not cope with that.

Two people from our fellowship came with us to the hospital, where a doctor and counsellor told us that Peter had only a 10% chance of living. They said that if he did live he would be brain damaged as there was nothing left of his face.

The doctors wanted to put a shunt in his head to relieve the pressure on the brain that was coming from his face. Then they told me his right leg below the knee had gone black, the pulse had

gone, and they needed to amputate.

While they were preparing Peter for surgery, we prayed in the Holy Spirit, ie in tongues. It was wonderful to have the comfort of the Lord with us all the time. It was an amazing feeling. We knew the Lord had it all in hand. I had so much peace that when the doctor was telling me what he was going to do I didn’t get upset. I told him about the ‘peace that passes all understanding.’

When this doctor returned he said, “I have been a doctor for 40 years and I

have never seen anything like this before.” Peter’s leg had regained a pink colour and the pulse had returned.

All this time I was praying that Peter would still look the same. The doctors repaired his face with 300 screws and titanium plates and now he looks just the same, which is just what I asked the Lord for. Peter’s legs were also repaired with pins and rods.

Peter made a full recovery from his brain damage and his leg and arm are totally healed. We now own our own business and Peter still flies aeroplanes.

I am so grateful for what the Lord has been doing for me all my life, including this amazing miracle!

“I have been a doctor for 40 years

and I have never seen anthing like

this before...”
