Welcome to Gateway!

I had a funny realization the other day. In about three weeks I'm going to be a mother-in-law! I want to be a good one - gracious, loving, not expecting too much. I had a wonderful example to follow...my mother-in-law Cheryl. Cheryl was one of the best things that ever happened to me. She loved me unconditionally and mentored me in how to be a wife and mother myself. In fact, she didn't call me her "daughter-in-law", she called me her "daughter-in-love"! I miss her so much this Mother's Day. I'll miss her this whole month - especially the day of Katie's wedding.

While I'm on the topic of the up-coming wedding, I wanted to communicate with you, our church family, a little about the ceremony. I wish we could have you all join the celebration, but because of space and financial restrictions, we cannot possibly invite our whole Gateway family to this event. I trust that you will understand, have grace, and cover us in prayer during this busy and emotional season.
