Presents: BROADWAY BOUNDdirected by Paul Angelucci
Following “Brighton Beach Memoirs” & “Biloxi Blues”, this is the poignant & funny conclusion of Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical “Brighton Beach Trilogy”. Eu-gene & his br other, Stanley, are tr ying to break into the world of professional comedy writing while coping with the breakup of their family . When their material is broadcast on the radio for the fi rst time, the family is upset to hear a comedy rendition of their trials & tribulations, & comic antics ensue as Eugene & Stan-ley continue to launch their writing careers.

Place cards:Place cards are a small detail for a wedding that can add a lot of beauty to the wedding reception. You can add simple additions just like the wedding invitations or you can go all out and make them a main piece of decora-tion. For simple additions take a fl ower cut out, heart gem, or metal char m and add it to the corner of the place cards.For a larger focal display there are various things that you can do. For a Fall theme wed-ding you can use this: make or r ent a center-piece for a table that is wir e for med into a tree. You can then use your Cricut or a lar ge leaf punch to punch out leaves. Now just write the guest name and table on a leaf. If you would like, you can add glitter or fl ocking to add detail to your leaves. Then hang some from the tree and lay some on the table to look as if they have fallen. Y ou can use the same idea for a Spring wedding and make fl owers. Each fl ower can r epresent a different table and you can have the 8 to 12 names of each person sitting at that table as the petals. You could even have a hear t tree (for red themed weddings) or snow fl ake tree (for winter themes). The possibilities ar e endless for ideas to use for your place car ds as an extra focal point. Be creative!

USE IT WISELYREAD: Genesis 2:7-15
The ear th is the Lor d’s, and all its fullness. —Psalm 24:1God gave us an incr edible gift—the beautiful world in which we live. Naturally, though, as we share this planet with so many others, we run the risk of seeing its beauty diminished and its resources depleted.While we have every right to use the resources God placed in and on the earth, we also need to recognize our responsibility to respect the ear th as His and to preserve its resources for future generations.In Genesis, the Lord told Adam (and, by extension, all of us) to “tend and keep” the ear th (2:15). Be-cause we don’t know when Jesus will return, it would not be responsible stewardship to leave our children and grandchildr en without the r esources that God provided for them as well.We might think our individual ef forts to pr eserve God’s world aren’t valuable. But we can all work to-gether to do our par t. Buying and consuming less, simplifying, repairing instead of r eplacing, reusing, and recycling are all good stewardship practices.One way we can testify of our love for God and to ex-press our gratitude for what He has done is by tend-ing and keeping the earth and all that it of fers. Until the Lord returns, let’s use our world wisely.
The natural world that God has madeIs given to us and must be shared;
May generations yet to comeBe thankful that we cared. —D. De Haan

SALLY In 1962, I went to Florida to be sales manag-er for a chain of some 14 camera stores called Admiral Photo. Due to personal reasons, I was back in New Castle by 1964. One day walking the streets of downtown New Castle, I ran into Bert Harrison who was a sales-man for Arel Photo Company. I knew him from my days at Jack Gerson’s, where we had a pho-to department. We went for a coffee and talked about cameras. One way or another, then and there, we decided to open a camera store down-town. There was an empty storeroom next to the coffee shop, and bingo, we were in the camera business. You know the song, “Those were the days my friend?” The camera business could not have been better or could there have been a better time to start a camera store. Cameras, processing, ev-erything fell into place, and we had a real suc-cess on our hands. Remember, this was almost 50 years ago, but we were the place to come to. One day, a nice looking girl came in and needed a developing tank for her husband, Joe Yost. That was the first time I met Sally Yost. (To be continued next week)
