Exam Statements of EntryPlease collect your statements of entry from
the Exams Hatch ASAP!

It is vital you collect your statement of entry and check your exam entries are correct

from:BTEC to AS/AS to BTEC Brand new AS subjects
You MUST complete an ON-LINE application through the Brock website
You MUST state Brock is your current school & your statement should focus on this year at Brock, plus why you want to make
this change to your study programmeYou will interviewed to see if a place will be offered – based on
your attendance and performance this year
Deadline for these on-line applications: Friday 9th May
Choosing your A2 OptionsAll first year A level students -
A standard A level programme consists of 4 AS courses, followed by 3 A2 subjects. In May all first year students will be asked to choose their 3 options for year two.
Procedure:• Log in to your student portal and click on A level progression
• Click the box for the three courses you wish to continue
• Click on save – you will be starting your new timetable when you return to college after study leave
IF • You don’t know which three to choose• You want to continue all four subjects
Click on all four subjects. Your timetable after study leave will include all four subjects and we will discuss your final programme with you when you enrol after the results in the summer.
IF• You have changed your career plan so that your current courses are no longer suitable – you will
need to submit a new on-line application before May 9th. In re-applying you are not necessarily guaranteed a place and you will need a very good report from your current teachers.
• There are only two subjects you wish to continue. You will be able to add a new course to existing A levels this will be to AS level only. You will be required to complete your current third and/or fourth subject by working hard with your teachers and passing the summer exams.
Click on the button that says: I am thinking of starting a new course at Brock or intending to leave at the end of the year.
You must make an appointment to see your progress manager during Study Leave or before. Go to the admin office in Student Services asap to make an appointment.

An opportunity has arisen to gain valuable office experience within the Business Development team at Brock College.
We are looking for two enthusiastic students to help improve our database and our Customer Relationship Management site.
Primarily focussed on improving and updating our records, the successful candidate will get real experience of working within a small office as well as an opportunity to visit local businesses with a member of the Business Sales Development Team, a valuable networking opportunity.
This will be an ongoing opportunity, so we are looking for people to help us within the summer half term, and again for x2 weeks slots throughout the summer holidays.
Training will be given in:
Business to business telephone calling Updating our database Creating new databases / contact list
