Schedule
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb asaw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peteand the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, They have taken the Lord out of the tomband we dont know where they have put him! 3 So Peter and the other disciple started for thetomb. 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.
6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb.He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth thathad been wrapped around Jesus head. The cloth was still lyingin its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple,who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He sawand believed. 9 (They still did not understand fromScripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)10 Then the disciples went back to where theywere staying. Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying.As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb
12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesusbody had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.13 They asked her, Woman, why are you crying?They have taken my Lord away, she said, andI dont know where they have put him.14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesusstanding there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.15 He asked her, Woman, why are you crying?Who is it you are looking for? Thinking he was thegardener, she said, Sir, if you have carried him away,tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.
16 Jesus said to her, Mary. She turned toward himand cried out in Aramaic, Rabboni! (which means Teacher).17 Jesus said, Do not hold on to me, for I have notyet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers andtell them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. 18 MaryMagdalene went to the disciples with the news: I have seen the Lord! And she told them that had said these things to her.

Announcements: Sunday, April 13th 2014 Today we will distribute Palms for every Ma ss. There will be a separate session in English in the
basement. The Holy Week schedule has been published in the bulletin. Please c heck for the
schedule of Adoration assigned for each ward and associations.
Holy week services will be done in English also. Those who are comfortable in understanding
English can join the services in the basement.
Those children assigned for serving as Angels and Altar servers please come in time.
Holy Thursday there will be a special collection as per the circular of Bishop Mar J acob Anga diath for the support
Diocesan seminarians.
There is a retreat taking place in Bishop Lane Center for students age from 15 and up by Fr Augustian Valloran V C
from August 11 through 14th. This will be a good preparation for students who are preparing for College and High
School. Registration is through online.
On Sunday 27th Blessed J ohn Paul II and J ohn XXIII would be raised to Sainthood in Rome by Pope Francis.
Same day we will celebrate the feast of these Saints together with the feast of Divine mercy in our Church.
CCD graduation will take place on 27th Sunday. There will be a pilgrimage to Velamkanni Matha Shrine in Washington D C on May 29.
Family Renewa l convention is scheduled from J une 12th through 15th 2014. There will be a special track for Youth a
Frs. J acob Manjaly, Sebastian Arikat and J oe Pac hery would be the main speakers for this convention.
Syro Ma labar Cultural fest is scheduled for Ma y 24th Saturday, Contac t Academy for details.
