What Motivated Us to Move from the Standard UCCSC Conference Site
• Wanted to offer additional features that were available in other packages.
• Did not have a lot of hours to work with• We have Drupal experience
Functional Requirements
• Easily be able to • Visible session submissions• Voting on sessions• View session schedule online• Register and pay online• Mobile Site• See all attendees• Easy access to information about the conference• BOF Scheduling
Design Requirements
• Slogan: IT on the Horizon• Representative of campus• "Cartoony" without going overboard
Smooth Implementations
• Using COD prebuilt a lot of items for uso Session schedule handling o User registration
• Creating session schedules was very simple
Thoughts in Hindsight
• Paymentso Unless you have implemented your campus's payment
system in the past prepare well ahead of time.o People signup as proxies for other people and the
directions weren't clear on how they should register those other people.

Our Suggestions
• Get payments working early• Implement Shibboleth• Make sure you have adequate resources to dedicate time to
the project
