About This Chapter

The BTS3900B is a highly integrated pico BTS. It incorporates functions such as transmission, main control, baseband processing, RF processing, and power amplification into a single module.

The functions of the BTS3900B are as follows:

l Supports the dual-band network configuration and a maximum of two carriers.

l Supports the IP transmission and IPSec protocol.

l Supports automatic data configuration.

l Support automatic frequency planning.

l Supports the AC input and PoE (Power over Ethernet) power supply modes.

l The BTS3900B adopts a compact modular design so that the components can be easilyassembled and disassembled to meet the requirements for fast network deployment.

2.1 BTS3900B ModuleThis describes the appearance, ports, buttons, and LEDs of the BTS3900B.

2.2 Power AdapterThe power adapter converts the 110 V AC/220 V AC to 12 V DC and provides input power forthe BTS3900B.

2.3 PSEIn PoE power supply mode, the PSE is used to provide input power for the BTS3900B throughthe Ethernet cable.

2.4 BTS3900B CablesThe BTS3900B cables are the power cable and Ethernet cable.
