Bruno ESCRIBANO has received an Iberdrola Foundation´s Grant delivered by the Kings of Spain The grant is part of the program “Energy for Research” aimed at young researchers for their training and development in the area of sustainability. The Kings of Spain have delivered yesterday the Iberdrola Foundation fellowships to students and young researchers through the various proposals. This year, the Foundation awarded grants to 95 young, five of whom are Basque. They will study and will research at the University of the Basque Country, ETSI Bilbao, BCAM, University of Deusto or at Strathclyde University. Bruno ESCRIBANO, BCAM Researcher at Research Line Modelling and Simulation in Life and Material Sciences awarded a grant for the project Towards an Atomistic Understanding of Sodium-ion Batteries on the Nanoscale, focus on the development of new computational methods applied to the characterization of materials used in rechargeable batteries, next year. The project will be led by Elena AKHMATSKAYA in collaboration with Javier CARRASCO (CIC Energigune).
