Dues Receipt: If you attend Lodge meetings, just let me know you want a dues receipt when you submit your check. These receipts will be available next Lodge meeting. All other rerquests require a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your dues check. It’s that simple.Post Office Box: We will soon surrender our Post Office box. Contact the Lodge Secretary Roy Triguero on all matters except dues payment. Send dues checks to Financial Secretary Julian Martin. Use either their email addresses or home addresses for all correspondence, which are given in the information panel located left of this message. For Cemetery information, use your Association’s contact information in the same panel.Snow: Yes, Brooklyn had enough snow this winter/spring to last us several years. We failed to open one Lodge meeting because driving was hazardous. Two other meetings were poorly attended because of the cold and snow on the roads. Mid-April saw a big change in returning Pythians. The worst is over!Grand Chancellor’s Dinner: We finally received official information on the price for the Grand Chancellor’s Dinner. It’s $120 per person. That’s $240 per couple. Oh, boy!Grand Lodge Convention: Dig your toenails into the carpet for this bit of news. The two-day convention in Ellenville, NY on June 27-29 will cost a cou-ple $700 plus tax and transportation for a Standard Room. For all room prices, the couple gets a Special Package Deal—2 Buffet Breakfasts, 2 Buffet Lunches, 1 Buffet Dinner, and 1 “Plated” Dinner. Gratuities not included! Seems like new thinking is required for future conventions. As Always! Inform the Lodge Secretary immediately of an address change. Also, if you don’t see your birthday listed, or anniversary, inform the Lodge Secretary. We send out email notices, holiday greetings and such; if you don’t get any, we may have an incorrect listing or none at all. Help us update our files by advising us of the problem. We want to talk to you–help us!
