Smart Systems UK Ltd began life in 2000. The company specialises in Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Lighting and SafetyProducts. The products and services are supplied via a network of Electrical Wholesalers. Manufacturing and distribution is carriedout at our sites in Coventry and London.

This price list applies to all orders placed for delivery onor after 1st January 2006 and supersedes all previousSmart Systems price lists.

Prices shown are our current UK trade prices in pounds(£) sterling. Trade discounts may apply – contact ourSales Desk for details.

Standard carriage is free on orders over £250.00 nettgoods. Standard carriage on orders less than £250.00nett goods will be charged at £9.50 (UK mainland only).Carriage charges for other areas are available on request.

An on-site delivery service is available at no extra cost.However, the nature of on-site deliveries (lack of access,etc.) means that goods often have to be signed for bysomeone other than your selected representative. Oncea signature has been obtained, neither our carrier norourselves can be held responsible for the goods.Although we will endeavour to provide proof of deliverywhere possible, no compensation can be claimed for anyconsequential loss.

An inspection and restocking charge of 15% will bemade on returns (minimum £5.00 per consignment).

FIRE ALARM SYSTEMSConventional 2-Wire Analogue/Addressable Components

Mark One Safety Solutions supply the following types of systems which will suit most applications:

1. Conventional. A zoned system where the protected building is divided into specific areas (zones), these control panels have a minimum of 2 sounder circuits.

2. Two Wire Conventional. Similar to the above but only one circuit per zone to connect detectors and sounders - installation savings can be as high as 40%.

3. Two Wire Plus. As per the 2 wire conventional but with the capability of distinguishing detectors in dwelling or communal areas - aimed at houses of multiple operation thereby helping to reduce unwanted false alarms.

4. Analogue Addressable. This system signals each device from the panel and is individually identified on the panel, devicesare normally wired on a loop.

The following are also available on a project basis:

1. Aspirated systems. Air sampling systems which provide early warning smoke detection.2. Radio fire. These can be used where installation is very difficult, like historic buildings or sites with multiple buildings.

TWO WIRE FIRE EQUIPMENT

It is a fact that drift-compensationreduces false alarms. This feature isnot normally available in aconventional system. Twinflex detectornot only has this feature as standardbut when the head does getcontaminated it gives you a warningon the panel and at the detector.

When you get the warning you just changethe disposable head and the detectorautomatically recalibrates back to normal.It’s as easy as that.

Ease of installation and cost savings comeas a bonus.

Twinflex Plus can be set for pre-alarm,which reduces the number of false alarms.
