NTE Aluminium and Glass is a division of Nhlarhu Trading Enterprise that was founded in 2004 by Happy Rikhotso. Makungu Hlongwane is the co founder of NTE Aluminium & Glass and brought a wealth of experience and respect from the industry. His technical and management skills, combined with the dynamic approach of the younger members of the team and rounded off by 7 years of experience on the financial side of our industry have all contributed to the success of the company as a reliable supplier of quality, ready-to-install, finished products at competitive prices.
With manufacturing facilities in Gauteng, NTE Aluminium & Glass’s objective is to become the vehicle via which its clientele can prosper by confidently concentrating their efforts on negotiating and winning contracts instead of concerning themselves with the problematic issues surrounding manufacturing. Through improved efficiencies, innovative design and motivated support teams, NTE Aluminium & Glass believes it is able to make their products quicker than and at least as well as any other manufacturer.
NTE Aluminium & Glass is an AAAMSA member and continuously tests its products to the strict requirements of the new building regulations regarding deflection, glazing, water and air infiltration. NTE Aluminium & Glass adheres to the SANS 10400 and 10137 wind deflection tests, whilst our Casement window has been successfully tested to the AAAMSA A3 rating. NTE Aluminium & Glass has achieved on the Vertical Slider (A1), the Horizontal Slider (A2), the Side Hung window (A1), the Curtain Wall (A4) and the Shopfront (A3). Our products have been designed with these specifications in mind as well as factors such as aesthetics, handling, installation and cost. R and D work has also begun on the upcoming new energy regulations.
Sound relationships with top suppliers and market leaders, put NTE Aluminium & Glass in a position to fully service its market in all aspects and as one of the very few independent manufacturers in the Aluminium Industry, it has the ability to adapt and implement new ideas to cater for the ever changing needs of the market.

GuaranteeThank you for considering NTE Aluminium and Glass. For your peace of mind, NTE Aluminium and Glass supplied to residential housing are proudly guaranteed against defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials for a period of five (5) years from the invoice date of the goods, subject to the following conditions:• The product has been installed in accordance with the relevant South
African Standards and recognised building practices.• The product has been maintained in accordance with the NTE Care &
Maintenance Instructions• The product has not been subject to misuse, physical abuse or neglect.• Manufacturing standards and tolerances are not deemed defects, nor
are industry variations in the colour of the aluminium surface finish.• NTE Aluminium and Glass assumes no liability for damage caused by
cleaning solvents, mortar or brick cleaning acids.• This Guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the faulty
product at the company’s discretion but does not extend to the installation or refinishing of a replacement product. No liability is accepted by NTE for personal injury, loss or claim or property damage, installation costs, material or other costs (whether special, consequential or otherwise) howsoever caused or arising whether direct or indirect.
• Only repairs carried out by NTE Aluminium and Glass personnel or authorised NTE agents are covered by this Guarantee.
• Claims under this Guarantee should be made within one month of the defect arising in the product. Copies of documentation showing the purchase date of the product should be included with your written claim and forwarded to the nearest NTE Aluminium and Glass branch.

Cleaning & Maintenance InstructionsFor instructions and details relating to Glass & Aluminium Cleaning, Hardware Care & Maintenance and Replacement Parts & Service, [email protected]
Of note is the cleaning instructions for the interior surface of Solect, Optilight and Solarplus glass products. As the interior surface of these high performance products is treated with a microscopically thin coating, NTE Aluminium and Glass recommends that the coated, interior surface be hand cleaned ONLY. The use of a squeegee or metal scrapers /blades is not recommended.
