INTRODUCTIONFX ARGENTINA is a Special Effects Company with over 30 years in the country. Pioneer and with most experience in South America. Since 1983, provides services to the community of the cinema, theater, photography, advertising and television.

Fx Argentina worked in more than 300 films, and around 1200 commercials, filmed in our country and all over the continent.

FX Argentina is a family company located in Buenos Aires, specialized in the production of special effects. Founded by Tom Cundom, today’s management is in the hands of his son Edward, who was born at the time that Tom began his business in the special effects.

FX Argentina is the only company which has full equipment, both to hire or rent, designed entirely in our workshops with input from international specialists.

THE COMPANY

The special effects department is responsible for performing all kinds of effects: mechanical, pyrotechnic, atmospheric effects, among others.

MECHANICAL

We have specialists in each of the required areas that are skilled for the construction of mechanisms combined with dummies, models or vehicles.

PYROTECHNIC

FX Argentina has the technology, creativity and experience to create pyrotechnic effects in compliance with all safety standards.

Our specialists are able to design and produce everything that the client imagination creates with all the required security measures. All explosives and pyrotechnics used by FX Argentina are authorized.

We have wireless systems to activate impacts on people or explosions of vehicles in movement.We do dust explosions, solid fuel, liquid fuel and propane gas.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

ATMOSPHERIC EFFECTS

In FX Argentina we have all the necessary equipment to carry out weather effects:

WIND generated by electric fans and motorized of all sizes.

FOG we have a wide variety of smoke machines.

RAIN we can set tanks and towers to generate either a fine mist or a great storm.

SNOW we have trustworthy biodegradable materials of all kinds.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Under the direction of a stunt coordinator, our Stunt team is trained to participate and perform action sequences with the minimum risk.

All of our teams are staffed by professionals in different disciplines: drivers, precision drivers, high falls, half and full body burns, fights, works at heights, underwater scenes, among others.

In our stunt team we have professionals trained in different martial disciplines. They are highly qualified to develop and coordinate fight scenes, as well as instructors to train actors.

STUNTS We also have a driver’s team, specialized in performing with a wide variety of vehicles.

Our Camera cars are optimized vehicles specially modified to improve the suspention of each one, in order to adapt them to every path where the shooting is taking place. With adjustable pneumatic suspension and the necessary space to operate big cranes.

FX Argentina has specialists dedicated exclusively to the design and development of various systems of Grips.

We also have flat cars and tow dolly for cars and motorcycles.

GRIPS AND CAMERA CARS

Fx argentina has the largest arsenal of Latin America: military weapons, assault weapons, handguns, machine guns, rifles, and also knives and antique weapons.

All our weapons are specially modified to fire only blank ammunition.

Our guns rental service includes blank ammunition for al calibers.

WEAPONS

FX Argentina has experience in flying scenes or wireworks.

Our staff is skilled and handy to carry out all types of effects related to movements in the air with actors and /or stunts in any location.
