Topics that will be covered:
1) CMR safety
2) Indications and limitations for CMR in clinical cardiology
3) CMR in ACS (STEMI, NSTEMI, ACS with normal coronaries on
angiography)
4) CMR in stable angina (stress perfusion CMR)
5) CMR in cardiomyopathy (heart failure, arrhythmia risks)
6) CMR in valvular heart disease
7) CMR in cardiac masses

It is our pleasure to announce the second educational initiative on Cardiac MRI of the NIHR Bristol Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit. The aim of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills of the core curriculum as well as the cardiac MRI requirements for the knowledge based assessment. Following feedback from our first course, the 2 parts will be run on consecutive days. Part 1 -‐ series of lectures Part 2 -‐ 50 interactive cases and attending a scanning session This course is designed for:
• Cardiology trainees (any Deanery) • F1 and F2 doctors • Cardiology and Radiology Consultants • Radiographers
Course fees: Cardiology trainees and F1 and F2 doctors: free Cardiology and Radiology Consultants: £ 200 (1 day) Radiographers: £100 (1 day) (Costs are intended per day and it includes lunch, and coffee/tea breaks). We look forward to seeing you,
