Key role of the FLAME Alumni Association
§ To provide a platform that will facilitate and enable former students to continue to be interested and involved in the life of the Institute
§ To serve as a vehicle that will strive for continual improvement of alumni on an individual and collective basis through the process of networking and role modelling.
Key initiatives
FLAME is a young Institute with only two convocations to date. Although our alumni numbers are relatively small, we have taken an early and earnest approach to building our alumni association.
In this regard we have achieved the following:
§ Ensured that all alumni are always informed of and invited to upcoming graduations and other special events. Although geographic and/or work constraints restrict attendance for some, we feel it is a step to ensure pass outs continue to feel part of their Alma matter.
§ Hosting of an annual alumni lunch that is attended by not just alumni but also the families of alumni and upcoming graduates. This event we believe provides an ideal opportunity for alumni to not only rekindle old connections and contacts but also establish new ones.
§ Establishment of FAN – the FLAME Alumni Network association that serves as a professional and personal networking channel for our alumni thereby better enabling alumni to remain in touch with each other and the Institute.
§ Development of a quarterly Alumni Newsletter. The aim of this initiative is to help “pass outs” to be kept aware of latest/important developments with the Institute and each other.

Life at FLAME was a process of metamorphosis. The years at FLAME have helped in shaping up not just as a professional but as a human in general. The rich learning experience at FLAME brings out the best in you. FLAME also exposed me to a lot of streams of knowledge apart from the management course which has helped me to develop my personality and explore my creativity. Living in the valleys of FLAME has been one of the best experiences of my life.
Vikram Gurnani
2009
"I can easily say that the best times of my life were the two years that I spent in FLAME. Nowhere else would I have found such a perfect combination of work and play, the best of professors, a huge variety of subjects and a plethora of co-curricular activities to choose from!
I will always remember the beauty of the campus, all my friends, and most importantly the faculty whose constant efforts pushed all of us to dream bigger, work harder and achieve more than our own expectation!"
Sonal Rajapurkar
Gold Medalist 2010
Student's Testimonial
FLAME for me was a platform to learn, an opportunity to explore, environment to question and a space to reflect. With a palette of these opportunities I discovered a new self in me backed by its reputed faculty and state of the
art infrastructure. Being at FLAME has taught me the importance of discipline and the beauty of freedom. Its
shown me good times and bad, achievements and failures, friends and foes - but through it all, it has always
taught me to do the right thing.
Miten Vora
Silver Medalist, 2009
FLAME has given me two years full of learning, self-improvement, motivation, inspiration, bonding and
friends for life. Be it ELITE or FLAME Rural Marketing Fair or a lecture taken by our prestigious faculty- each
experience took me to higher level of growth and helped me become a better leader and a human being. FLAME
has made me what I am today.
