Event Highlights

Spring Gala

The Spring Gala is an

amazing oppoortu-

nity for friends within

the league to enjoy

an evening of dinner

and dancing while

supporting the Done

in a Day community

service projects.

Annual Art Walk

This event supports art

and literacy for children

of Lee County. Each

spring it is hosted at the

Jule Collins Smith Mu-

seum of Fine Arts. People

from around the commu-

nity come to walk and jog

in order to raise money

for the cause. It’s a great

time to join with friends

and family to run or walk.

Advantages of Joining the Junior League

The Junior League is an organization

that revolves around philanthropy and social events. It is

made up of women who desire to bet-ter the commu-

nity through service while at the same time forming new

frienships. It impacts Lee County through

its events and ser-vice.

League has pro-vided me with an incredible oppor-

tunity to meet women my age

while at the same time serving the

community.” Lee, 25

“It”It has been the best thing I have done as a mom. I

have met so many wonderful women who love to serve

and have fun all at the same time.” Susan, 36

“Every woman should think about joining the league. It gets you plugged into the community
