IntroductionAl Mobty Contracting Co. was established more than four decades ago as a sole proprietorship firm and has now been transformed into a closed joint stock company. It has a number of business divisions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and overseas.

Al Mobty is nationally recognized as a leader in the fields of building & Hospitals construction, rail permanent way infrastructure, construction and maintenance; construction of roads, bridges, dams, airports and marine works Al Mobty Group has also constructed special projects and facilities such as cement manufacturing plants and electromechanical workshops. The company has a strong project management capabilities. It has a modern, well-equipped centralized workshop for the maintenance of railway locomotives and heavy equipment.

Our company exceeded 40 years, where it started with the efforts of the founder of the group our father Sheikh / Saeed Mohammed Al Mobty, and now under continuous growth until it reached the third generation of Al Mobty family.

With the efforts exerted by the loyal dedicated employees, and there diversified expertise, the company gained varied experiences and new capabilities along with different stack holders, and thus enabled us to execute many local & international projects with great client satisfaction. It is important to mention that our company was one of the very first few Saudi companies that worked international projects.

I am proud that our company continues to grow at a rapid pace. This can be attributed to the enthusiasm of our youth; the experience and support of the elders; and of course our belief that all of this cannot happen but by the blessing and Will of God.

كلمة نائب رئيس مجلس اإلدارةهذا الكيان الذي كانت بدايته األولي في أواخر الستينات من القرن الماضي متواضعة ، ثم تراكمت الخبرات واالمكانيات وتطورت حتي أصبحت شركة المبطي للمقاوالت من الشركات السعودية القليلة التي ساهمت في تنفيذ مشاريع السعودية على العربية المملكة التنمية في تنفيذ كثير من مشاريع الكبيرة في الى مساهمتها باالضافة دولية

Further more, it has significant contribution to the national development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the completion of many mir national projects.

As much as our company is proud of its founder Sheikh / Saeed Al Mobty, we are grateful to the efforts of the men of the first and second generation for their valuable contribution which resulted in the establishment of a solid business foundation for the company’s future.

Technical & Administrative CapabilitiesAl Mobty owns more than 2800 pieces of equipment, machinery, and production plants. Also employs skilled workforce that exceeds 6200. Of those, 450 are engineers, operators, technicians, etc. The nationalities employed by Al Mobty include; Saudi, Arab, Asian, European and Africans. The company retains in-house all its technical, administrative and financial capabilities. Moreover it has a well-regarded reputation for the quality of its projects. In the last thirty years the company has achieved a significant acceleration in its international activities due to its qualified management and its effective services.Eng. Abdullah Saeed Al Mobty, Chairman of the Board of Directors, has recently adopted a strategy for the further expansion of company business. The Board has employed the services of Price Waterhouse & Coopers and Ernest & Young to assist in this effort. The Chairman's objective is to centralize all business development activities hereby strengthening the company for a planned rapid expansion into neighboring countries.Eng. Saad Saeed Al Mobty is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the company. Al Mobty Group is very interested in obtaining specialized and qualified international partners to assist the company in its capabilities to win and complete wide range of projects.

It has now a large number of engineers and technicians whom are specialized in various disciplines of construction engineering, consulting engineering, operation and maintenance of plant and equipment, along with industrial engineering. Those employees form the core team managing all projects, contracting business and operations undertaken by the company. Al Mobty has an excellent reputation in engineering and construction. The company has an employee continuous improvement-training program. New employees with special knowledge are brought into the business either directly or through partnerships. Additionally staff attends numerous local and overseas training seminars and courses. Currently the company is expanding its knowledge in railway construction and maintenance with the aim of being a major player in this industry within the next five years.

Al Mobty was the first private sector Saudi company to enter the Saudi rail industry. The Rail Division has employed the latest international technology to ensure maximum productivity and excellent quality. As its expertise has grown the Rail Division has gone on to complete a large number of project including the construction of new railways lines, maintenance of existing lines, installation of railway signaling system, and maintenance of wagons and locomotives. It has a modern workshop for specialized rail track maintenance equipment. The Rail Division has been classified as Grade (One/First) for railway projects according to the classifi-cation and rating agency of contractors in Saudi Arabia. It has qualified staffs with international expe-rience that are capable of completing a range of rail projects either in Saudi Arabia or internationally. The division has the latest and largest private sector fleet of railway equipment and machinery in Saudi Arabia. This includes locomotives, rail wagons, ballast segregation machinery, welding and tracking lay-ing equipments. The division also has workshops and warehouses, which provide excellent logistics, support for the successful completion of rail infrastructure project.The Division has established a number of specialist rail factories in Saudi Arabia which are capable of pro-ducing rail products to internationally recognized standards. This includes a new Concrete Sleepers Fac-tory and a Turnout Factory in association with VOESTALPINE SCHIENEN GMBH, AUSTRIA). Both these factories are capable of supporting the division with its completion of various railway construction and track maintenance projects The Division’s railway workshop is equipped with modern plant and equip-ment for the servicing and maintenance of track infrastructure equipment; locomotives and specialist wagons. The workshop is staff by qualified employees, including those with international experience.the division activities include: Construction of Railway Projects Maintenance of Railway Projects Execution, Maintenance and Operation of Railway Signalling projects Mainteance and Operation of Rolling Stocks Design, construction, maintenance, operation of specialized workshop for locomotives and wagons Manufacturing of the railway related materials & components: 1-Manufacturing of Concrete sleepers 2-Manufacturing of TurnoutsNow we are in the process to establish an international academy for the education of the engineers and technician who work in this field to support this division or educate and train the others from GCC and Arab world.The company has a special maintenance division executing important projects in this field for long term contracts with the clients.It has all the financial, technical and administrative capabilities along with well equipped offices. It has collaborated with international companies to execute specialized projects. Al-Mobty has created excellent relationships with international suppliers and manufacturers in railway technologies.The company is an authorized agent for many international manufacturers of railway equipment, mate-rials and products in Saudi and Gulf Regions.

The Roads and Infrastructure Division undertakes wide range of infrastructure projects including; highways, airports, bridges, tunnels, dams, water systems, reservoirs, sewage networks and treatment plants. It has also completed major lighting projects and the constructions of several ports.The division has a very large equipment and resource inventory including heavy plant and equipment, trailers, trucks, quarries, asphalt plants, concrete plants and specialized workshops. The division is classified as Grade (One/First) according to the classification and rating agency of contractors in Saudi Arabia. Major projects currently include; project planning for industrial cities, towns and residential areas. Also, highways, bridges and tunnels. It has undertaken various ports and rail projects. The division has completed several international projects in Yemen, Sudan, Djibouti and Jordan. It has a large number of highly experienced engineers and consultants, qualified surveyors, project supervisors, technicians and equipment operators.

The Buildings Division participated in the construction of many high-profile, distinctive and emergency projects in Saudi Arabia complying with the most modern constructions and building systems and modern architecture, including all kinds of projects, government buildings, commercial and residential, including the construction of high-rise towers, airports, hospitals, colleges and universities ,commercial centers, military building constructions, hotels projects in various specializations. It also expanded the buildings division activity outside the Kingdom by contributing to the construction of many vital projects such as airports and hospitals in Asia and Africa.The projects implemented by the building division over the past years enabled the company to qualify to execute various building projects of all sizes in Saudi Arabia, an extension of the accumulated experience (The division classified in grade (One/First) according to the classification and rating agency of contractors in Saudi Arabia.
