PPCs BPL system components
MV200 - Together with PPCs patented medium voltage couplers enables the
MV200 medium voltage modem the data transmission on cables of up to 24kV.
LH200 - The LH200 is the interface between the BPL network and the backbone.
It modulates data on the low voltage grid with a gross data rate of 200 Mbps.
LR200 - The repeater LR200 extends the transmission distance in the power
grid.
It amplifies the signal according to the “store and forward” principle. Robust, for
facile installation and with minor dimension it is typically located in a street
cabinet.
LGW200 - The Smart Metering Gateway LGW200 connects the BPL network
with all electronic meters. Equipped with Zigbee, Wireless-M-Bus, RS485,
RS232, M-Bus or CS interfaces the LGW200 can be easily connected to meters
of all media.
