The history of Mexican’s people goes back with ages ago. The first native people were Olmecs, Zapotecs Maya, and Aztects.

Mexico is about one-fifth the size of the United States.

Country Birth- Sept. 16, 1810

Monetary unit- Mexican peso

Capital- Mexico City Area- 1,972,500sq km

(slightly less than 3x the size of Texas)

Government- Federal Republic

Climate- Varies fro tropical to desert

Language- Spanish, Various Mayan, Nahuatl, and other regional indigenous languages

 Always keep your hands visible when eating. Keep your wrists resting on the edge of the table. . When you have finished eating, place your knife and fork across your plate with the prongs facing down and the handles facing to the right.

. Do not sit down until you are invited to and told where to sit. . Do not begin eating until the hostess starts. . Only men give toasts. . It is polite to leave some food on your plate after a meal.

Mexican food has been mostly considered to be very spicy. The main Mexican food is corn. The Mexicans also discovered chocolate. The Mexican farms grow wheat, coffee, tomatoes and tropical fruits.
