Rationale
To encourage and teach pupils to do self-directed learning at home
To test the school’s capacity for HBL should there be a school closure due to national emergency situations

What to do on HBL Day? 1. Log in AsknLearn at 8:45 am on HBL Day
2. Attendance will be taken at 8:45 am. Those who log in after 8:45 am will be considered late.
3. You should have 5 HBL tasks for the day, one for a subject.
4. Follow the timetable to complete the HBL tasks
5. Each task should take about 45 mins to 1 hour
6. Read the “Instructions for Lesson” before you start
Submission of HBL Assignments
There is an assignment to be done for each subject
Your assignment can be in the form of quizzes, discussion forums, online worksheets. You may also be required to submit your work in written form to your teachers the following day.
You should submit all assignments given according to the instructions given to you.

Expectations of Students
Read Instructions given in the online lessons carefully
Complete the online assignments within the time given
Participate actively in any discussion or collaborative work
Do not be distracted by other online activities such as Facebook / games
