Background

Solution
Create an identity or the social through a variety o printed media; poster, invitations,membership cards, yers, event posters and a old out poster, all printed on low coststock with consideration or low ink costs.
I chose to use vintage imagery which I sourced rom collectors blogs as the Hyde Park Social has a very dated, retro eel to it aesthetically which I believe to be one o thereasons students in Leeds are so ond o it. I elt that this image implies un and suggests
the eeling o ‘letting go’ to the audience which is the atmosphere o the club that I amtrying to get accross. I chose low cost newsprint stock as it is appropriate to both thelimited budget as well as meeting the v intage aesthetic.
I chose a colour palette o black plus two colours to limit ink costs but to stillallow the posters to be visually engaging.Te indigo colour # 2e3192, though used at varying opacities and tints, is consistent
throughout all the designs to maintain some consistency.
Tese posters would be displayed in the universities o Leeds as well as in selectedindependant boutique shops, bars and caes requented by students.
Te Logo
I created this simple circular logo identity as I wanted something more image based to
use other than the ull words to link the designs together and help build the image o theclub.Te other supporting media; old out poster, yer, invite and membership card ollow a
similar aesthetic and also carry this logo to ensure contenuety across multiple designs.
Tese yers directly reect the design o the main poster only they are double sided andintended or distribution outside the universities and aer club nights and gigs whenstudents are exiting the venue. In addition to this the yers would be placed in
universities, caes and bars amongst other event yers.
Invitations to be distributed through the l etterboxes o the residents o Ash Grove whichis the road where the Hyde Park Social Club is situated. Tis is to inorm new residentsabout the club when they move in at the start o the achedemic year.

Memebership cards to be distributed to members at the point o purchasingmembership to the Club on their rst visit.
Tese posters are or various events held at the social including a regularbi-monthly open mike night. Like the main poster, these would be displayed throughoutthe university campuses in Leeds as well as in selected independent boutique shops, bars
adn caes requented by students.Tese posters are also printed on newsprint and use a colour palette o black plus twocolours.
Tis double sided poster would be distributed quarterly in student promo packs such asDon’t Panic. Te poster olds out to reveal the up and coming listings or the Club with aposter on the reverse side. I chose bulky newsprint or the stock as it is cost efective and
carrys the colour in the same way as regular newsprint, only it allows you to print doublesided without being too seethrough.
