Trailer park boys is a cult television series from Canada. The character Jim Lahey (John Dunsworth) is well know for his outburst or rants referred to as shitisms.

The show has a massive following all over the world so the audience will be vast. The designs will need to communicate the quotes visually as well as typographically.

To design trailer park boys ephemera in the form of a postcard series.

Research: The research consisted of looking at typographical designs as well as simple illustrations to see how I could bring them together to communicate the quotes. I had to go through a lot episodes making notes of the best shitisms that I felt I could visually represent.

Digital: I sketched a few rough ideas first picking out sections of type that could relate to an illustration. The ideas process developed on screen digitally using vectors to illustrate the quotes.

Series: The post card series depicts the quotes with simple, bold illustrations that are complimented with saturated colours. Each post card has the season and episode name on so collectors have a reference.
