The class meets for six-weeks for two hours each week. The focus is on improv- ing the practice of caregiving. There is a thorough overview of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia as well as the emo- tions the caregiver may face, a tool for decision making, and how to deal effectively with family issues. You will learn about the stages and how to use that to help your loved one stay “in the zone”. Wednesdays, October 3 - November 7 5:30 - 7:30 pm 3225 Hospital Drive First Floor Conference Room Classes are free but pre-registration is required as space is limited. The Bridge has the opportunity to visit with sweet, friendly dogs once a month from our local animal shelter. Look at this smiling sharpei from one of our visits with the Gastineau Humane Society!
