Pull into Briarfields’ wide, gravelled drive and immediately a sense of space welcomes you to the hotel’s beautiful surroundings. The hotel team are locals who know the area like the back of their hand and can recommend a wealth of days out and activities, whether it’s a walk along the award-winning coastal footpath, a trip to see the seals at nearby Blakeney or simply watching the sun set on the decking.

Relaxation and Briarfields are synonymous - during the summer months, enjoy the peace of the hotel’s rose courtyard or sit on the decking area and unwind with a glass of something celebratory, as younger guests let off steam under your supervision in our play area. Should the weather turn chilly, there are plenty of inside spaces to cosy up - settle in the snug in front of an open fire with the papers, play games, watch television or a DVD in the lounge, or enjoy coffee in the lobby or dining room.

Briarfields has 23 ensuite rooms - six superior doubles, two superior twins, seven doubles, five twins and three family rooms - each comfortably furnished with an individual style and a touch of luxury. Several rooms have super king size beds, for those who like a little more space, while family rooms include a main bedroom and second bedroom with TV to keep younger guests entertained. A series of ground floor, pet-friendly rooms enable us to welcome canine family members. Some of our rooms also feature outside seating on a small patio area creating a personal space to relax and enjoy your downtime.

Briarfields has a wide range of dishes to satisfy all tastes and appetites. Its kitchen team freshly prepares locally sourced ingredients, including Holkham venison and Brancaster mussels, daily into an array of tempting choices. The hotel has its own smokehouse and the menu regularly includes a selection of home-smoked fish and meat.

A range of daily specials reflects local market ingredients and each week, during the summer months on Friday evenings, east meets west at Briarfields’ sushi and oysters night and a Sunday seafood bar provides the ultimate feast of fruits de mer.

Whether it’s Sunday lunch, a sophisticated afternoon tea or a children’s menu cooked to the same high standards, Briarfields’ food has diners return time and again.
