The Brewers have also announced the signings of two non- drafted players, LHP Shawn Clowers (Liberty University) and RHP Aaron Myers (Longwood University). All 3 players will report to the AZL Brewers. Including these 3 players, the Brewers have now signed 29 players (23 drafted and 6 non-drafted). Unofficial Player of the Day SS Gilbert Lara finished 4-for-5 yesterday with 2 runs, a triple and 4 RBI with the AZL Brewers. He has safely hit in all 4 games this season and is batting .412 (7-17) with 3 runs, 2 doubles and 4 RBI. The Bani, DR (known for their Mangos) native was ranked as the fifth best prospect in the Brewers organization according to Baseball America entering 2015.
