CUSTOMER SERVICE CULTUREFor nearly a century we have built our reputation by delivering prompt, courteous and professional customer service. We pride ourselves on providing world-class quality products with superior customer care. Our staff is responsive, detail oriented, ethical and reliable. We offer rapid responses to your pricing inquiries, strict order tracking and shipping notifi cation, to keep you on schedule and informed.
ONSITE TECHNICAL SUPPORT With over 200 years of combined experience, our staff has witnessed nearly every brazing application or process and can provide solutions to help your manufacturing group stay lean and effi cient.
PRICING FLEXIBILITY Our pricing programs allow our customers to customize a pricing strategy to fi t their business needs. You can fi x the market for a period of time to prevent daily commodity fl uctuations from disrupting your customer base. Pricing can also refl ect day of shipment metal markets. Scrap pricing options provide additional methods for reducing market volatility and off setting future material purchases.
Firm – Agreeing on a fi rm price, based on time or quantity, at the time of order for a single or multiple shipments. The invoice will match the purchase order, reducing variance.
Floating – Agree that the metal prices are “fl oating” and the shipped quantity price will adjust to the current metal market the day of shipment.
CUSTOMIZED INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSP&I offers an integrated stocking program that allows you to have part-specifi c materials available for immediate delivery, allowing for fl exibility while eliminating non value-added activity. We maintain the shortest lead times in the industry and can often ship same day. Our systems support:
• Dock-to-stock • Kitting
• Kan Ban • Safety Stock Levels
• EDI • Custom Packaging
ASSET RECOVERY/SCRAP RECLAMATIONWe help our customers recover the value of scrap and unusable inventory by working with refi ners who maximize the yield of your material.

SILVER ALLOYS
Available in
cadmium-bearing
and cadmium-free
alloys, silver brazing
alloys braze ferrous
and non-ferrous base
metals and are the
standard for brazing.
Their versatility, high
strength and low
melting temps offer a
variety of applications
PHOSPHOROUS ALLOYS
Copper-phos alloys
are widely used for
copper to copper
due to self fl uxing
properties from the
phosphorous content.
Not for use with
ferrous or nickel-
based materials.
BRONZE ALLOYS
Bronze alloys are high
temperature alloys
that are mainly used
for high strength and
stress. Used often
in copper to steel
brazing furnaces,
steel to steel in torch
and induction brazing
and carbide to steel
joining.
HIGH PURITY ALLOYS/VTG
High purity alloys
are used for the
brazing of carbides,
steel, cast irons and
other ferrous alloys.
Vacuum-grade fi ller
metals are fabricated
for use in the high
purity atmosphere of
vacuum furnaces.

ALUMINUM ALLOYS
Aluminum-containing
alloys are high
temperature alloys
that are widely used
in the automotive and
refrigeration industries
for aluminum to
aluminum brazing.
GOLD ALLOYS
Gold alloys are
excellent for brazing of
iron, nickel and cobalt-
based metals where
resistance to oxidation
or corrosion is
required. These alloys
have high strength
and are primarily used
in vacuum furnace
brazing.
COPPER ALLOYS
Copper alloys are
high temperature
alloys. Pure copper
has excellent corrosion
resistance and high
electrical and thermal
conductivity. Copper
alloys are often used
in furnace and vacuum
brazing as well as
brazing steel, stainless
and nickel alloys in a
controlled furnace.
NICKEL ALLOYS
Nickel alloys are mainly
used in controlled
atmosphere furnace
brazing of stainless
steel.

OTHER PRODUCTSBRAZING POWDERBrazing fi ller metal powders are produced using various methods, including atomization, sintering, and crushing. The powders are then screened to collect specifi c size fractions to meet industrial or OEM specifi cations. Powders come in either coarse or fi ne mesh sizes to meet the application method.
Powder Application Methods:1. Slurry - powder + a suitable binder2. Dusting - sprinkling the powder onto the surface3. Spraying - using a binder through an applicator
SOFT SOLDERSFrom advanced electronic applications to automotive components to plumbing products, we offer an infi nite combination of soft solder alloys and preform styles. Products include lead-free solder, common tin-based solder, solid, fl ux cored (acid or rosin) and coated solder.
