THINK SEAMLESS

Bravo Marketing is a small creative agency that has been in business since 1989. It has grown up with digital technology and the web world which has transformed the way it sources creative talent and suppliers.

Bravo now works from a virtual office headquartered in Canberra with a remote studio in regional NSW. As a member of Regus businessworld it can hold client meetings and run training programs in all capital cities and internationally.

This has made Bravo more affordable than the larger agencies and more flexible in the way it can deliver communication services to a wider range of clients no matter what the location.

But the professional skills to design and produce strategic marketing plans, communication campaigns marketing communication materials and dynamic websites will never change. This is our area of expertise.

Our marketing communication services include:

• Branding• Strategic marketing plans• Campaigns• Communication (internal and public)• Graphic design• Website design and hosting• Publishing

BEHIND THE SCENES

Marje Prior is the principal and senior consultant for Bravo Marketing By Design. She brings three decades of experience in writing, publishing and social market-ing and is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Marketing Practitioner (CPM).

She consults to government, business and community organisations with recent experience in regional tourism, indigenous affairs and disabilities.

Before starting her business she was the Public Communication Manager for the federal Department of Industrial Relations during the ground breaking years of the Hawke and Keating Labor Government.

An important author on social issues in her own right, her first book, Shooting At the Moon, provides an invalu-able insight into the work of Australian and Cambodian peace workers during the United Nations peace process in Cambodia in 1993.

Her extensive experience in working at a national and local level has given her an invaluable insight into the way you communicate with regional and remote Australia. She has received three NSW Premiers Awards (2000, 2002, 2004) for her contribution to the develop-ment of services for communities in rural and remote NSW.

The company’s other business arm, On The Stone, provides a professional publishing service for self publishers and first time authors. For more information visit www.onthestone.com.au.

THINK COMMUNICATION

Good internal communication procedures are essential for strengthening your organisation’s culture, keeping abreast of information communication technology, developing collaborative communication models, empowering and motivating employees – especially when undergoing a change process, merger or restructure.

Bravo’s senior consultant can assist businesses and government to review and implement internal communication strategies to risk manage change, build capacity and capability.

This involves conducting an audit of your internal communication processes, risk management procedures and a skills gap analysis.

THINK RESEARCH

Market research discovers what consumers think about your brand, products and service delivery. It also enables you to review your communication strategy with your target audience.

These insights enable you to connect with a diverse range of stakeholder groups by ensuring that your message is being received.

We use online survey tools, focus groups and face-to-face interviews to research your market and ensure your strategies are effective.

THINK WORDS

Think about how words impact on your emotions and buying habits – especially online and in the media.

Words, visuals and storytelling are our primary source of communication and can engage or alienate an audience if not chosen carefully.

Understanding the language and mindset of different audiences and cultural groups is the context for delivering persuasive, targeted messages in print and online.

Bravo’s storytelling and collaborative approach to communication is how we deliver the best results with an authentic voice.

THINK MEDIA DISTRIBUTION

Bravo subscribes to a media distribution service to distribute your media releases. This national news network targets specific media outlets and publications and is updated on a daily basis to service government, industry and business.

We offer our clients a total design solution as part of our seamless approach to communication.

We believe quality design and illustration differentiates your message from the rest by creating a lasting impression.

This is demonstrated in our work whether it be a website, new corporate identity, an educational package or a major report.

We can refresh your corporate identity to ensure it works effectively for both print and online media.

Bravo designs are based on:

• a thorough understanding of your corporate identity

• identifying your target market and/or key stakeholders

• development of a style guide for consistency of application

• ensuring your image works seamlessly on your website and in printed marketing collateral.

Bravo provides a complete website design, content management and hosting service for our clients. We prefer to use Wordpress which is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP.

Our websites are W3C standard compliant and possibly the easiest to update your content in existence today. You can manage your own content or we can do this for you at a reasonable fee.

We host our websites with a top Australian hosting provider who provide great technical support.

Our competitively priced packages enable you to start small and increase your online presence as your business grows.
