communication is and will always be important! Business owners, managers, skateholders has to play a huge role in communicating brand strategy and brand design. clearly defining what the brand will mean to everyone is hard, so ny communication and making sure everyone is the right page with the brand and all its elmet will help a lot.

Understanding what you stand for, what you are trying to achieve could not be more important. Brand Identity strategy is all about doing that. Before you can connect with someone, you have to know about you first.

A lot of business owners likes to skip out on the whole branding process. I hope that is not you. Or the just skim through it, but some truly just does not understand the magic behind it. A Brand That evokes a strong feeling

and connection with an audience will bring in the big bucks $$ how can it not?

Clearly defining your brand postion is also a huge part of the branding process. Its the only way to set your brand apart. I bet you can find another person doing the same thing you are doing, but how do you set your self apart. Well a clearly define brand is one way of doing it. Know what you stand for and your position on it, will ensure you connect with your audience on a deeper level.

The biggest talked about painpoints for business owners are conversion and not having enough sales, and bringning in the big bucks $$$. One thing I can tell you that is the cause of that is not connecting with an audience, or engaging enough with that audience and finding out their needs and wants.

This means that you should know or think about you business

values, what do you care for and does it alighn with the values of your target

audince.

What is special about your business? What

can you offer that your competitors cant, is it trust

and loyalty. Is it on time fast and on time delivery

like

This is part of the brand identity. You need to have a solid groundwork of you are as an organization, as

a business and people. Its critical indeveloping

loyal customers and competitive advantages.

STRATEGIC DRIVEN BRAND DESIGN IS THE ULTIMATE KEY.

A WELL BRAND STRATEGY WIL ENSURE YOU GET RESULTS THAT WILL INCREASE ROI, AND INCREASE BRAND AWARENESS

BUSINESS OWNERS MUST

Now this is prolly one of the hardest thing to do truly is. Some business

have an obvious audience but for some business its not so obvious. Strategy

like using Facebook audience Insight can

help with finding your aduience.

After all that is the whole point of branding!Making your brand stand out in a pool of competitors, distrattions, and getting the attention of your audience is the ultimate goal. If you can do that the results and growth will be tremendous.

YOUR BRAND IS YOUR SHOP WINDOW. MAKE IT RIGHT!

MissionBrand PositioningBrand Promise

What are you promising to do? No seriously what do your business do? For example: Subway’s brand promise is to eat fresh, and healthy. The promsie resonate well with an audience that wan’t to eat fufilling healthy foods.

How are you positioning your brandin a way that will distinguish it from other brands? How will you create a unique impression on the customers mind?Is your brand postion professional, or quirky and fun. Is it about the highest quality and luxury or cheap and afordable. Knowing this will ensure you are competing in the right market.

What does your brand stand for, whats the brand purpose. Like we saw earlier this year with NIKE taking a stand with Kapp NFL black ball. They came out with a promotion that said “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything”. A mission statement will allow you to connect with your audience on a deeper level than just buying your product/services. Make a brand mission statement part of your Identity you wont, regret it.

01 02 03

To design is to communicate clearly, by whatever means you can control or master. Milton Glaser

Big companies hand over the footprints for their brand strategy, success everyday. Small Businessess should be taking advantage of that, so that they can get ahead. But a lot of time when it comes to branding, steps are skipped

or neglected because it doesn’t seem imporant enough. Because $$$$ is what we want we don’t have time for anything else. Brand your business the right way to increase your brand awareness and the $$$ will come.

When it comes to personal branding and branding for your business Brand Message is imporant. Brand messaging has to convey what you are doing, and it has to evoke a strong emotional feeling with your audience. With Brand Messaging comes the following below.

04

Target Audience Tone of VoiceCTA

Call to action is a marketing tactic that is used to get you to take action. like click here, buy here, download your free PDF guide, so on so far. CTA are part of your brand messaging, it trully is. It doesn’ have to be a boring click here. Instead, it can be Click here or regret it forever. Make it fun make it personally.

You have to know who you are talking too. Who are you reaching, how do you want to impact their lives. How will your services/product transform their livelyhood. Sounds extreme I know, but those are the questions that needs to be answered. Finding and targeting to the right audience, can be like strking a pot of gold. But it wont last if you dont connect with them and evoke and emotinal feelings with that audience.

Every business tone of voice will be different. What is your voice? Think about it! Does it sounds appealing and how do you feel about it? Your brand voice can be fun, serious, bold, arrogant, inspiring, obnoxious, what is it? Lets take a bank for example their tone of voice will likely be profesional, serious, and bold. While ToysrUS will be playful, quirky, and fun. Determining and defining you voice will take your brand far.

EXPERIENCE DESIGN FOR EXPERINCE NOT FOR DESIGNING

STORY TELLING

One way to connect others to your brand is through story telling, doing that can ensure a great user expererience. User experince is so key to brand success. Users buyers, consumers whatever you call them they are the key to your brand success.

A complelling storytelling will humanize your brand and that is what we want. You can do that through a statement or in your site content. Connecting authentically has never been more important in todays world of branding. No one likes that shady business, who never answers your questions straight and never picks up their phone, why, because the feeling is not authentic.

USER CENTRIC DESIGN

Designers are to design for the customer in mind. Not for the business owner, or the CEO, or even the skateholders. Sorry to break it to you, it had to be done! If you don’t know, now you know.

Design is to be user centric, what does the user want, what are their painpoints, how can our services make things better for them? By doing that you can watch your revenue increase as more and more people will want to interact and buy from your brand.

What is Experience. What does your target feel when they interact with your brand? Part of brading is to map out the customers journey or expereince. Do you make things easy for them or do they have to go throuh hoops to get what they want? Your brand must be engaging and easy to understand.

Consistency in design is crucial confusion is the last thing you

want when it comes to your brand. Consitency allows your audience to connect and stay connected. Humans are creatures of habit.

Having inconsistent elements like colors, tpography, images can

confuse and drive your audience away.

A stong color palette is a must, different colors convery different

feelings. Base on what you are wanting to portray choosing the right color is key. For example;

the color orange convey optimism, clarity and warmth. The color red evokes the feeling of excitement,

bold and youtful.

Font is not a big deal, honestly, but having the key is choosing a

font that is legible. Somehting that everyone can read but also a font

that connects with your brand Identity. Keep your font count to

three. A Font for copy, for H1, and H2. Simplicty is key remmeber that.

Loyal Customers

With appreciation comes loyalty, having a personality that connects with someone usually become a long lasting lotyalty. That is what

you want out of your Brand. Having the personality will make your

cusotmers and audince want to befriend your brand.

Brand Face

Having something or someone as your brand face is not really

needed but it helps. What I mean by Brand face is to have an influencer that represents your brand. Huge

companies uses celebrities for their brand like Nike, ChANEL, GUCCI, etc.

Humanizing Your Brand

The more human your brand seems the easier it will be for your audience to connect with you. The goal is to make your audience feel relatable. What I mean by that is your brand should connect in a way to make your audience feel

understood and appreciated.

PERSONALITY WILL MAKE YOUR SITE MORE HUMAN AND RELATABLE.

07

You can Show Brand personality by the adjective that is used to best describe your brand. Like some busy owners will use slight cuss words to show humor but again it has to match your brand position and voice. You wont see a bank cuss on their website.

Maecenas euismod rutrum augue eu elementum. Aenean eu tortor imperdiet neque porta feugiat eget ac tellus.

One strategy to use is to inspire your tribe (AKA) target audience. You have to figure out what motivates them and insprire them to be great or do better in life. Big brands who understanding this uses role mode succeeds. Some will use athletes, movie stars, comedian etc. Small businessess can do the same by showing involvement in your local community, let your brand be part of something more than itself.

This can be connected to your brand mission statement. Everyone has a goal and a dream, if your brand can somehow help your tribe achieve their goals you will have an everlasting pool of clients, buyers, etc.

Leverage your tribe aspiration in your brand strategy. Convey the feelings that you are here for their best interest and their goals

What do you feel when you buy a new Iphone. You feel good, like you are holding the best tech in the world in your hand. So answer this question about your brand, what does my customers, and clients feels about my brand? If you are getting positive feedback then you are doing a great job at conveying a strong feeling. If not your brand has some tweeking to do.

Brand Voice matters if you want people to connect with your brand and have them keep coming back. Like I said before your voice can be conveyed in one sentence. But to have a clear consistency of what your brand is, and what it represents it has to be implemented everywhere. Your web content, your images, videos, testimonies and more. Sometimes your voice is not something you come up

with. Sometimes it is something that comes about from your customers and what they are saying about you.

There are strategic steps you can take to figure out your brand voice and one of them is writing down adjective to describe your brand and what you do.

For example; is your brand serious, passionate, authentic, efficient, harmonious etc. Coming up with those adjectives can help you figure out how to implment it through out your whole brand. By doing this you can then compare your voice to that of your competion and see if its different or has any similarities.

The goals is to be different and unique so that you can connect with your tribe in a way that knowone else has.
