Many people are used to the old standards.Surface Types are sometimes divided between two symbols in the current MicroStation Maps.Different standards are needed for the different product types & Scales.The attributes collected dictate the symbology chosen.
Some Surface Types are split into different categories in the original MicroStation mapsNational Standards may not be in the near futureAny standards implemented will be changed if National Standards are created
