The Ramset LogoBRAND IDENTITY GUIDELINES 2015

The Ramset™ core brand message and attributes are carried through all mediums of communications through the intelligent use of color, typography, photography, and other Ramset™ brand elements. Proper usage is important to ensure the quality of the experience of every Ramset™ customer and potential customer. The brand elements include: The Ramset™ logo, the Ramset™ Roundel, the color orange (pMS 1655c), typefaces, and line art.

The Ramset™ Colour PaletteThe Ramset™ colours are PMS1655C Orange and Black. For uncoated stock PMS021U should be used. The process colour to be used is Magenta 75%, Yellow 100%. The colour to use for signwriting or painting is DULUX Fiery Glow

The Ramset™ Logo & RoundelThe Ramset™ Australia Logo retains two historical and valuable assets. The Ramset™ “Roundel” and the colour “Orange”. The relationship between the roundel and Ramset™ must not be modified. As can be seen from the below diagram the distance between the roundel and the word Ramset™ is half the diameter of the roundel. This same amount of space should be allowed around the logo during layouts. This logo is the preferred option, it uses the Ramset™ spot colour PMS1655C as the orange in the roundel, the rest of the logo is 100% Black. This logo is ideally suited for usage on brochures, two colour printing and packaging.

The Ramset™ Logo - MISUSE

Always respect the Ramset™ brand mark and its individual components, applying them with care and consistency at all times.This page contains the only accepted variations for the use of the Ramset™ Logo. When using the logo on a background that isn’t specified, such as a photograph or “tone”, the logo that offers the most “contrast” to the background should be used.

Here are a selection of things we don’t want to see happen to the brand mark.Always use the approved artwork to ensure that this type of misuse is avoided at all times:

1 Do not apply any non-approved colour or fill to the brand mark.2 Do not recolour other elements of the brand mark (or allow them to become transparent to their background).3 Do not stretch the brand mark or distort it in any other manner.4 Do not recolour any element of the brand mark.5 Do not use out-of-date or historic identifiers in any Ramset™ communication.6 The word Ramset™ and the roundel logo must not be seperated in any way

Our brand typefaces provide us with a consistent typographic styling across printed applications and help to strengthen recognition of the Ramset™ brand.Helvetica Neue Condensed Font have been selected as the Ramset™ brand typefaces and should be used across our printed communications (e.g. stationery and literature). Helvetica Neue Condensed is our primary typeface and can be used for headlines and text. It is a sans serif typeface of high readability and versatility. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: READ TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

Wear safety goggles, protective gloves and clothing when using. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapour. Use in well-ventilated place. Do not use near naked flame or ignition sources. No smoking. Read Material Safety Data Sheet available from Ramset or the website.

FIRST AIDIf on skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water. If swallowed do not induce vomiting, give a glass of water. If in eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes with eyes held open. Contact poisons information centre on 13 11 26 (Australia) or 0800 764 766 (New Zealand).

Substrate PreparationDrill recommended diameter and depth hole in substrate with DynaDrill™, rotary percussive machine, refer to Engineers Drawings and / or Technical Data Sheet.

IMPORTANT: Dust will interfere with adhesion and reduce load capacity of fixing. For Best results use Ramset™ Dustless Drilling System otherwise remove dust and debris as follows using Hole Cleaning Pump (HCPHV) or compressed air and stiff nylon or wire brush.

Dispense adhesive to waste until colour is uniform light grey (2-3 trigger pulls). Insert nozzle to bottom of hole. Inject adhesive, gradually withdrawing nozzle until ¾ full. Insert threaded rod or deformed bar to bottom of hole while rotating to avoid trapping air. Load fixing when adhesive has cured.

Storage: Shelf life is 12 months between 5°C and 25°C out of sunlight.
