LOCATION: KINGSTON FREE LIBRARY Joseph Waller, Jr., Senior Ar- chaeologist at the Public Ar- chaeology Laboratory, will dis- cuss the unseen world lying beneath the slate and marble gravestones of our historic burying places. Drawing from archaeological projects in RI, he will discuss 19th century burial practices with examples of artifacts removed from historic graves. He’ll also high- light a recent project of identification and relocation of in- ternments from a formerly “lost” historic burial ground. In partnership with South County History Center. Membership is open to all with a common goal of seeing our library grow and ex- pand.
