Why a Trip toMarblehead?
For my 12th birthday, my big present was a trip by myself to Marblehead, Massachusetts. I was born in Massachusetts and lived in Marblehead before my family moved to California. It's a pretty place and I wanted to go back and see my friends there.
Marblehead, MA Marblehead is a town in Massachusetts, population was
20,377. It has roots in commercial fishing and yachting and is one of the birthplaces of the American Navy. Marblehead was first settled in 1629 by John Peach Sr., and incorporated in 1649. There are STILL houses from that time and people still live in some of them.
Marblehead is next to Salem, MA, where they had the Witch Trials in 1692.
