D_17608 Brachos Bingo By Torah Umesorah Chaim and Chaya Baila Wolf Brooklyn Teacher Center Grade Level: Early Childhood Description: Play this simple bingo game to review the brachos rishonos made on different foods. There are six variations of the bingo boards and a blank board. Editable files are included for customization. Materials Needed: Bingo boards (included) Food cards (included) Plastic game chips Laminator (optional) Instructions: 1. Give each student a bingo board and game chips. 2. Pick a food card and ask students what bracha is said on that food. If the student knows the bracha and has the food on his game board, he covers that food on his board with a game chip. 3. The first student to get a row and/or cover the entire board is the winner. Variations: Instead of using the food cards, say a bracha and students cover any food on their board on which that bracha is said. Allow students to create their own boards. Give each student a blank board on which to paste magazine clippings or other food pictures. Play the game using the variation above. Print two sets of the food cards. Do not print the boards. Play a matching/memory game. Player gets to keep the matches found only if s/he can state the bracha said upon the food.
