6-9 Art
Students will explore drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. We will learn about a famous artist, element/principle of art all while learning new skills, creating, and having fun! This class is meant to help build an art foundation of concepts, skills, vocabulary, and inspire a love of art! Don’t be disappointed if a finished product doesn’t come home each week. Masterpieces take time!
10-14 World History Required text: Story of the World, Vol 1. Explore Ancient Civilizations with themed activities. Weekly homework.
10-14 Creative Writing Learn the essential elements of creative writing and story-telling and how to edit for grammar and content.
10-15 Spartan Training Agility class to develop overall body strength, grit, dynamic balance, coordination, and mental toughness.
8-12 Logic Develop mathematical reasoning skills through formal logic and fast-paced games.
11-14 Literature Students will investigate details, motives, and themes while contemplating challenging questions. Students will share their thoughts and ideas cooperatively through verbal, artistic, or written activities and conversations. Chapter books to be determined.

10-14 Conversational Spanish This class uses a functional approach to teach students the language skills needed to communicate in a variety of everyday situations, such as asking for directions, taking public transportation, and ordering food.
10-14 Outdoor Education Get your child outside for outdoor adventures, physical education, and nature studies utilizing our beautiful 22-acre campus. Exciting activities each week!
6-9 Literature and Reading Promote an avid love for reading books and poetry through read-alouds, crafts, and weekly phonics study.
10-14 Visual Arts Draw, paint, and sculpt. Students will explore art history and improve their skills & eye for art.
10-14 Writing/Grammar Students will learn the writing process including key word outlines, rough drafts, and final drafts. 13+ Drafting/Design Students will learn geometrics, sectional views and multi-view drawing. Students also study lettering and dimensioning. Students will begin with paper and cardboard models and progress to computer designs.
13+ Health and Pathology Basic anatomy, overall health, and diseases of the human body.

10+ Archery Our full archery curriculum will sharpen skills using our newly renovated archery course.
13+ Biology Lab Students will fulfill lab requirement for high sciences.

10-15 Journaling Writing doesn’t have to be time-consuming or complicated - it doesn’t even require a deep love of writing. Learn to express your ideas in an unrestricted, open-ended format. Journaling concepts include bullet journaling, list making, goals/dreams, gratitude, quotes, reflection, and more.
13+ Apologetics Explore the links between the Christian faith and all of life. This course encourages exploration of common ground between Christians and those with other beliefs.
