• What We are Going to Discuss;

• The Presentation is containing small practices of re-engineering which applied in two different organization in context of improvement and effective utilization of resources and provide the maximum throughput.

• This Presentation is based on different case studies which are applied in a pharmaceutical company and a automobile manufacturing company.

Business Case 1: Efficient utilization and reduction of water consumption.

Current Scenario

Water Used for Washing. 92,000 gallon per year Water Used for Gardening 100,000 gallon per year Water Used for Cooling of Pumps 200, 0000 gallon per year Cost of Water 435,590 rupees per year

Business Case 1 Cont…! Efficient utilization and reduction of water consumption.

Potential Opportunity: 4800,000 gallon process water discharge & treated every day. All the Process / treated water used to discharge in public drain. The potential opportunity of around 65,70,240 (6.6 million) rupees.

• Business Case 1 Cont…!Efficient utilization and reduction of water consumption.

• Implementation & Cost Efficiency:

A connected line of process / treated water has been provided near the each area to facilitate the services through process / treated water.

Required internal training has been provided to related staff. It implies the saving of around 536,570 (0.5 million) rupees per annum.

Other channels to avail this opportunity are remain under consideration.
