BPL is transmission of high speed communication services over existing electric network.BPL technology enables radio frequency energy to be transmitted on same medium voltage power lines that carry the electric current from electric station .
.An Injector serves to provide the main data signal, a Repeater serves to boost the signal at regular intervals due to line noise and an extractor serves to convey the data across the power transformer to the user(s) as each transformer will usually feed power to several customer.
